That is extraordinary Robin. Only yesterday I was having this image blown up and someone asked me if anyone ever says they’re in a photo of mine. I remember this shot clearly although nearly 20 years ago.
Maths teacher. That makes so much sense. I’d love to find him there again and take another one!

Incredible – I know who this is! This is my old maths teacher, Mr Collins! You’ll see him around that area fairly regularly. He’s a big cinema-goer, and has one of the Cineworld unlimited cards, so is always at either the Shaftesbury Avenue or Haymarket cinemas.

I think this image is fantastic. I think it represents your distinctive style which is at times spooky, moody and visually the still image seems to be in motion.

I feel strongly that you should show your work to a curator, as I think it has authenticity to it.

Flipping through your images, it is at times reminescent of Daido Moriyama’s moody, high contrast stuff he regularly puts out.

As for this image, I hugely enjoyed it, the secret spookiness, especially the eyes really grab hold of you, burns itself into the memory banks.

Keep up the great work.
